Tayla employs a collaborative and empathetic approach, demonstrating deep compassion and unwavering dedication to the promotion of mental health and well-being. She firmly believes cultivating self-awareness of our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours is the key to enhancing our relationships with both ourselves and others, ultimately enhancing our quality of life.
Tayla possesses valuable insights into working with diverse populations and a wide range of presentations, gained through her extensive background as a mental health support worker for adolescents and adults, a behaviour therapist for children with ASD and ADHD, and a mentor for children in foster care. Additionally, her work as a psychiatric assistant has also honed her skills in conducting assessments and administering diagnostic tests for ADHD, anxiety, and depression.
When working with clients, Tayla employs evidence-based treatments, including CBT, ACT, IPT, and Mindfulness.
