Riley Lord

Provisional Psychologist

Riley is a Provisional Psychologist and associate member of the Australian Psychological Society. Currently in his final year of supervised practice and completing his Masters in Psychology, Riley brings passion and enthusiasm to his work.

Riley is dedicated to empowering clients to achieve their personal goals and foster positive change in their lives. With a keen interest in health and wellbeing, he collaborates closely with clients to facilitate lasting personal development and perform at their best in various aspects of life. Riley’s experience spans working with adolescents, adults, and older adults in diverse settings including counselling, assessments, coaching, and workshops. He takes a professional, warm and empathetic approach with a priority for the individuals’ mental health and wellbeing. Riley supports clients to navigate life and its challenges, including anxiety, stress, anger management, depression, sleep difficulties, performance under pressure, and issues relating to self-doubt, confidence and health.

In his therapeutic work, Riley employs evidence-based approaches tailored to the needs of each individual, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Beyond his professional endeavours, Riley enjoys his sport (Basketball and Cricket) and taking his dog Louie to the park.

Riley is available at our Beaconsfield location on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays (including evenings) and is currently accepting new clients.
