Provisional Psychologist

Lydia is a provisionally registered psychologist completing the final year of supervised practice. Her passion lies in the assessment and management of disorders such as autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and learning difficulties, with a particular focus on clients across various stages of life.

With a toolbox encompassing cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other therapeutic modalities, Lydia is practised at tailoring her approach to suit the unique needs of each client. She also has experience in supporting children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. She has experience in administering a diverse range of psychoeducational assessments, including the Weschler Intelligence Scale for Children and Adults, the Weschler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence, and the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule.

Central to Lydia’s practice is her commitment to cultivating a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to embark on their therapeutic journey. Recognizing the integral role of family dynamics, Lydia places great emphasis on engaging with the familial support network, particularly when working with children and adolescents.

Lydia is available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays and is currently accepting new clients.
