Ben is a Clinical Psychologist with a passion for helping clients to better understand themselves and make the changes they want to see in their lives. His aim is to equip clients with insight and practical skills to address their immediate concerns, but also for long-term psychological wellbeing and growth beyond therapy. Ben uses evidence-based therapies and techniques that focus on your strengths and personal goals to help you move towards where you want to be in a compassionate and collaborative way.
Ben works with presentations including trauma and trauma-related disorders including PTSD and Complex PTSD, personality disorders, depression, anxiety and phobias, panic, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), procrastination, and grief. He also has extensive experience working with neurodiversity including ADHD and Autism. Ben works with adolescents over 16 years of age and adults of all ages.
He provides an individualised and person-centred therapy approach, utilising therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy and mindfulness-based interventions.
Ben is also a Registered Board Approved Supervisor, providing regular supervision to provisional psychologists completing their final year of supervised practice. He enjoys supporting the next generation of psychologists by sharing his knowledge and clinical expertise through both individual and ongoing group supervision.
Ben is available Monday to Thursday (including evenings) and is currently accepting new clients.
