Dr. Gorica Boskovski

Dr. Gorica Boskovski is the founder and Principal Psychologist of Mindspace Psychology. Gorica is a fully registered Counselling Psychologist who is also a Member of the Australian Psychological Society. She is also a registered Board Approved Supervisor and provides regular supervision to registered and provisionally registered Psychologists to support them as they work towards their full registration. Gorica has had extensive experience working in private practice, schools and with general practitioners with a variety of different clients including children, adolescents, adults, older adults and families, presenting with a wide range of psychological problems. Whilst she is experienced in working with various client presentations, she particularly enjoys working with promoting women’s health and also supporting young people and their families, having worked as a School Psychologist for over 10-years prior to opening her group private practice.

Gorica utilises various therapies to suit client needs. She takes a humanistic, person-centred approach when working with clients and their current presenting problems. Gorica draws on a range of evidence-based models including, cognitive-behavioral therapies, emotion-focused therapy, psycho-dynamic approaches and more. Gorica has a warm and empathetic approach, with an emphasis on support in order to provide positive change for each individual in a safe and confidential environment. She is also a strong advocate for supporting her growing team, through regular supervision. This ensures that our clinicians are are able to continue expanding on their skills and professional development, whilst balancing their own caseloads to ensure continued quality care when it comes to our clients.

Gorica is available at our location in Beaconsfield Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays.
