Beth Kilgour

Beth is a registered Counselling Psychologist who has extensive experience providing psychological therapy for common concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic illness, complex pain, phobias, addictions, and sleep difficulties. She utilises a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-focused therapy and Clinical Hypnosis. Beth has a particular interest in assisting people who have been injured at work or in transport accidents to recover and regain active and fulfilling lives.

Beth has worked in private practice in the eastern area of Melbourne for over 20 years. She completed her PhD in Public Health at Monash University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Work Disability Prevention and Intervention at the University of Toronto, Canada. Beth is also an Adjunct Senior Researcher at Monash University and has several publications in the compensation and rehabilitation fields. She is a long-serving member of the Australian Psychological Society Rehabilitation Psychology for Injury, Chronic Illness, and Pain, Interest Group.

Beth is available on Tuesdays & Wednesdays and is currently accepting new clients.
