NDIS Referrals

If you have a permanent disability that significantly impacts your ability to partake in everyday activities, you may be eligible for the NDIS.

For approved NDIS patients, at your 1st session our Psychologist will need a copy of your plan to discuss your treatment according to your funding and psychological needs. There is no gap payable for each session however, for clients who do not attend or give less than 48-hours notice, the session will still be charged against your plan.

Our Psychologists are experienced in providing capacity building supports including:

  • Improved daily living skills. At Mindspace our Psychologists’ are experienced in providing individual assessment and therapy in order to meet individual goals. This may include for example, working towards emotional regulation and anxiety management, to promote more independence in daily life and also includes a comprehensive assessment and plan towards reaching improved daily living.
  • Improved Relationships. Our Psychologists are also experienced in providing intensive support to address harmful or persistent behaviours of concern. Behaviour Management Plans and supporting the minimising of any harmful behaviours are also included as part of our strategies to better support our NDIS clients in achieving improved relationships both socially and emotionally with caregivers and other supports involved in their lives.
